This 4×4 Adventure Tour Welsh Borders route has a fantastic variety of lanes. From densely wooded hills and exposed mountains to tight farm tracks and numerous fords – this tour has it all.
Come and join us on the 24th and 25th February 2024
Starts in Leominster and finishes at Rhayader. It takes in parts of Offa’s Dyke, passing through the the villages of Clun and Bucknell. Rhayader has many option for accommodation, including B&B’s, pubs, hotels and camping.
Heads south across the open moorland of Black Yatt and Paincastle, ending in some thrilling lanes just to the north of Hay-on-Wye.
The route may also include the newly opened lanes of Water breaks its neck and Moelfe City conditions allowing.
Some minor scratching from hedges in farmland areas can be expected.This route is not really suitable for newer shiny vehicles. Good tires required essential especially in winter. While there are a number of fords on this route, snorkels are not essential but are good to have in the wetter months.

|This weekend tour takes a different route each day. We think it works best as a 2 day trip but you are welcome to book for either Saturday or Sunday as you wish.
|Options for camping or B&Bs/Hotels. A number of choices available . Ultimately you are responsible for your own accommodation. We recommend you book the tour first and only book accommodation once we have confirm sufficient numbers. Usually two months in advance.
