Join 4×4 Adventure Tours in North Yorkshire driving some of the best scenery that its two national parks have to offer on the weekend of 21 and 22 September 2019.
Day 1 – starts in the market town of Hawes and loops round to Kirby Stephen then taking in the Cam High road and Sener Water finishing on Dead Mans Hill and Scar House Reservoir
Day 2 – sees us cross the Vale of Richmond to the Moors, and starts with Rutland Rigg, the longest lane in the England. The route zigzags across the moors with some nice little fords in the valley bottoms and open moorland tracks over the tops, finishing near Whitby
The 4×4 tracks in North Yorkshire are mostly open moorland and should be non-damaging, however, there are a few sections that are more technical and there are a number of fords.
One section, Osmotherly Steps, is particularly challenging and will only be tackled by groups of well-prepared vehicles, possibly as an additional section at the end of the trip.
