Just got back from 2 weeks in Morocco. Fantastic trip. Such an awesome place to go in a 4x4
Found some early photos from my first Moroccan trip in our Series 2. Worth noting the snow in the mountains on one of the photos., And this was October. These changeable conditions casued by the High Atlas Mountains is is what makes Morocco such an interesting destination for a 4x4 Adventure Tour
World's most dangerous Roads. I have just discovered this program on the BBC 2 by accident. I am not sure what the rest of the episodes are like, but the Madagascar episode has some great off-roading action. It's not often you get any 4x4 action on a main stream channel. This is well worth watching and still on iplayer. Some serious mud with washed out bridges and river crossings.
Well it's taken a while but some of our videos from our trans-African adventure are finally finished. These two are from a 3 day trip into the worlds oldest desert the Namib in Namibia which forms part of the Namib-Naukluft National Park. Diamond ghost towns, shipwrecks, some of the worlds largest dunes were some of the amazing highlights!
It was almost the end of our African journey from Bristol to Cape Town and we joined an organised trip into the mesmerizing desert. There were more than a few moments when we thought we'd be leaving Russell behind as the going was seriously tough. In some of the shots you can see the damage to his shocks - that was hitting a pot hole in Sudan's Darfur region after being shot at!
